  • Agree, I can't believe MES passed the"approved plugin test" considering how much of an advantage it is. It's essentially a requirement for insanity altar prayer. I abused the **** out of itself since it is enabled surprised it made the cut of all things. I will also throw one out that's quite related: that the Jad plugin was extremely overrated. It did not give you some advice that the animation/sound of Jad does let you know. NPC highlight on the healers is a bigger advantage over vanilla customer as it makes them way easier to see. Without it the method only moves back to using Mousekeys to do the same thing with fixed movement on a right click menu. MES is a better solution for everybody (no external mouse motion program needed, no excessive wrist movement out of bad UI design etc..)Try teaching a LEAGUE OF LEGENDS PLAYER. Those folks get baffled. Had my friend spend 15 minutes clicking and dragging lobsters to bank them, getting confused when it had been click/drag to drop rather than use an item, not knowing the intricacies of the battle system then calling it boring after I allow him leech entirely due to how clueless he is. It makes you step back for a moment and realize how much of RuneScape that's second nature to a veteran participant is really difficult for most people to wrap their heads around.

    Since most of us grew up on RuneScape, we're self-learned and never had a fantastic tutorial. Tutorial Island, I will defend to my death and adore, which makes you kill a rat in revo manner but doesn't even mention the action bar or to rotate abilities. It's no wonder some people presume perhaps sipping a prayer potion and waiting for the enemy to die and clicking is the battle system's complexity. Yeah, the tutorials of Jagex are cluttered. The HUD is a clusterfuck that is impossible to navigate, made worse by icons on mobile vs desktop anyone who heard RuneScape through mobile will be confused af.

    But I just blame modern players generally. Laugh about it and I don't wish to call my friend a little brain but that's the whole mentality. RuneScape wasn't built in a day and every move Jagex requires to make RuneScape engaging and more fun adds even more layers into RuneScape that most people won't ever bother to learn.

    A fantastic example of this is my knowledge of RuneScape. I know exactly where the choppable trees, freshwater fishing place, Stiles (the bass banknote exchanger), and Brimhaven gate are in Musa Point. That understanding is burned into my mind. However, if I needed to smith a masterwork platebody, by way of OSRS gold example, I'd have to look for every single necessary component and measure on the wiki because I am just clueless.
